The C. S. Lewis Foundation is pleased to present the 2025 C.S. Lewis Summer Institute in Belfast, Northern Ireland, for the first time in our 36 year history.
Join us in July 2025 in Northern Ireland where C.S. Lewis returned throughout his life to be inspired and refreshed. Together, we will explore our theme through lectures from leading scholars, the transfiguring power of the arts, the wonder of worship, and the gift of newfound friendships.
Our goal is that the conference will enliven our thinking, catalyze our imaginations, and deepen our faith – with the ultimate goal of returning home invigorated by renewed purpose and hope.

Our plenary speakers and artists include Malcolm Guite, John Lennox, Alister McGrath, Kirstin Jeffrey Johnson, Curt Thompson, Amy Baik Lee, Diana Pavlac Glyer, Eric Redmond, Sheridan Voysey, Crystal Hurd, and Alexander Smith. More speakers, artists, and afternoon seminar leaders will be announced as we confirm them!
Who is this conference for?
Our attendees come from a wide array of backgrounds, experience, ages, and denominations. The conference is for anyone interested in the theme, whether they be laypersons, professors, businesspersons, clergy, students, or teachers.
What is common is a love of faith, learning, fellowship, and the arts (and quite often, a love of the works of Lewis, Tolkien, and related writers and artists; though knowledge of Lewis and the Inklings is definitely not required!).
