21st Century Lewis – How C.S. Lewis is as Influential as Ever
Lewis has been a relevant voice within the world for over 75 years, both through his books that still sell upwards of 2 million copies a year, and the films that have been adapted from them. But why do his words continue to inspire and motivate people to deepen their faith in God?
David Theroux will discuss the lasting legacy of Lewis, including the impact that Lewis has had within his own life and the organization he founded, the C.S. Lewis Society of California. He will also discuss how such organizations are furthering Lewis’s legacy of inspiring and discipling people to better impact their worlds for Christ. Finally he will offer advice to conferees on what they can do to start their own Lewis reading groups or societies and how to take Lewis’s writings and use them as a bridge to connect to a modern audience.
