Lancia Smith,  participant and photographer, just posted a quick reflection on her experience at the Southwest Regional Retreat & Writers Workshop last weekend. Here is an excerpt:

[T]his conference was and is all that my heart could hope and more — exhilarating, inspiring, hard work, relationship building, saturated in the company of people I love and admire, challenging, mesmerizing, encouraging, astonishing, humbling. I experienced twice something beyond this world that Lewis and others referred to as the numinous. I received numerous invitations and urgings  to attend glorious Oxbridge this summer and may even have a possibility to shoot it. I see the door opening to pursuing and serving in the areas I love best and believe in most deeply. There were countless moments of being beyond describable happiness and fulfillment.
