Registration / Program Tuition
The cost of registration is $2365, which includes all sessions and programming for the event, transportation during the program, entrance fees to local/regional attractions, 1 afternoon tea, and 7 meals: 5 lunches, and 2 dinners. NOTE: Registration does not include airfare, lodging, pre and post event transportation, other meals, and other expenses not specifically mentioned.
Some scholarship funding is available. Applicants are not required to be students to be eligible. You will need to submit 1) your resumé, 2) a letter explaining why you’d like to attend the seminar and why you need financial support, and 3) two letters of recommendation, preferably a professional one and a personal one speaking to your personal character and faith. If you would like to apply for a scholarship or have any questions, please contact Maribeth Albritton at malbritton@cslewis.org.
Scholarship application deadline: You must submit your application by February 21 and all reference letters by February 27.
Lodging
Registrants are responsible for booking and paying for their own lodging (lodging costs are not included with registration).
We will be holding a variety of rooms at the two preferred local bed and breakfasts (B&Bs) for our registrants during the Summer Seminars. We will have van transportation each morning and evening ONLY to/from these B&Bs.
Registrants are strongly encouraged to book their rooms as soon as possible, as we will be releasing the rooms to the general public at the end of March. Please note that you may not be able to book your room online, and may need to call or email the B&B.

Cancellation Policy
Registrations may be cancelled until May 20, 2023, minus $395, which is nonrefundable. After this date, no refunds will be accepted.

Travel Insurance
It is strongly advised that Summer Seminars participants purchase travel insurance to protect themselves from unforeseen events that may impact their travel plans. There are a number of companies offering such services. Though we do not have specific recommendations, we have listed a few companies below for your convenience.

Covid-19 Pandemic Policies
We will comply with all U.K. and local guidelines in effect at the time of the event. Please note that as of February of 2022, no masking mandates are currently in place in Oxford. However, there is no guarantee we can offer of what the situation may be this summer.

Please note that may be a degree of uncertainty about any travel. If you are concerned, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance that matches with your degree of comfort with risk.
The C.S. Lewis Foundation assumes no liability for changes in personal, individual travel plans or additional travel costs due to travel complications that might arise (please see our refund policy above). In case of the event being cancelled, we are able to convert the amount to a donation, apply it to a future event(s), or refund attendees in installments, based on our Board of Trustees’ guidance.

Please note that The Kilns is not fully accessible for all disabled persons.
By registering for the event, you give your consent to be filmed/photographed during the event for potential use for archival, fundraising, marketing, and promotional productions of the C.S. Lewis Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity/nonprofit organization. If you would like to opt-out, please email us at selmore at cslewis.org and provide us with a note and a headshot photo of yourself so that we don’t inadvertently use your image.
