Tuition – C.S. Lewis Foundation

Tuition includes admission to all of the main conference programming from Friday evening through Sunday noon, materials, refreshments, and specific meals (Friday evening reception, Saturday lunch, and Saturday dinner).

Tuition does not include lodging or transportation to/from the event. You’ll need to register for both tuition and for room & board, separately. Read below for information about lodging at Hotel UMass.

The Early-Bird Registration discount ends on September 2, 2024. Registration for all other options ends October 14, 2024.

** Early arrival add-on is for those who would like to arrive early afternoon on Friday, November 1st to attend two extra sessions with our breakout session leaders. Early arrival add-on includes admission to these two sessions, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. and 4-5:30 p.m. Dinner on Friday, November 1st is not included, but can be purchased on your own in the Campus Center.

Note: PayPal is the processor, but you can pay by regular credit card by clicking on that option on the PayPal screen. You do not need to open a PayPal account.

Lodging – Hotel UMass

Reservations for registrants of the C.S. Lewis Conference & Faculty Forum are available at Hotel UMass for October 31, 2024 – November 03, 2024. Through this website you can book, modify or cancel your hotel reservations. Average nightly rate is $159.


Scholarships

Tuition assistance and work study scholarships are available but are limited based on current funding. (Note: we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is funded primarily through the generosity of individual donors. We do not own the rights to C.S. Lewis’ works.)

To apply, please email a resume/c.v. and a letter explaining the following to malbritton@cslewis.org: 1) why you wish to attend, 2) what you hope to gain from your attendance, 3) why you are requesting a tuition scholarship to attend, and 4) if you are requesting a work study scholarship or a non-work study scholarship.

Your materials will be reviewed by the scholarship committee, who will select the recipients from the pool of applicants. Applications are due by September 14, 2024. Receipients will be notified in late September.

While a higher priority is given to certain groups (faculty, teachers, currently enrolled full-time students, missionaries, those working in ministry), anyone with need may apply.

NOTE: Scholarships are credited towards the tuition portion of registration ONLY, not lodging. Scholarships cannot be combined with early-bird, college, or high school discounts.


 Policies

  • Online Registration for tuition (to the C.S. Lewis Foundation) requires payment in full.
  • Refunds
    • Tuition (C.S. Lewis Foundation): $50 of the tuition is non-refundable. The remainder of the tuition is refundable if registration is cancelled by September 14, 2024. After 9/30/2024, 100% of the tuition fee is non-refundable.
    • Room (Hotel UMass): Hotel UMass has a 48-hour cancellation policy. Please refer to the hotel’s information on refunds when you register.
  • High School Students: Under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult due to venue policy. If the adult is attending the conference, they will need to register for the conference at full price. If the adult is not attending the conference they still need to be present at the venue.
  • Undergraduate College Students: Must be under 25 years old and currently attending a college or university to receive this rate.
  • Photography/filming policy: by registering for the event, you give your consent to be filmed/photographed during the event for potential use for archival, fundraising, marketing, and promotional productions of the C.S. Lewis Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. If you would like to opt-out, please email us at selmore@cslewis.org and provide us with a note and a headshot photo of yourself so that we don’t inadvertently use your image.
