BC-10 — Engaging Culture Creatively: Case Studies of Four Great Christian Leaders
Cherie Harder
What is cultural transformation? For all of the talk about the need for Christian “cultural engagement”, there remain many questions as to what it is, how it happens, and why it matters. In “Engaging Culture Creatively” we will consider the possibilities for cultural renewal by analyzing actual examples of four Christian leaders who changed the culture around them -- and what we can learn from their examples, ideas, and relationships. The life, work, and thought of William Wilberforce, Martin Luther, Abraham Kuyper, and G.K. Chesterton will illuminate the possibilities for engaging culture substantively and creatively.
