BC-13 — Songs in the Night: The Power and Authority of Redemptive Pain
Nancy Heche
This transformational seminar will discover how redemptive pain unleashes the power and authority that overcomes the chaos in our lives—the chaos of self, the chaos of interpersonal relationships, the chaos of the culture and the unsearchable chaos of God.
First, we will look at the chaos of self and the ways in which men and women from Scripture discover a power and authority which transcends it. Next, we will look at the chaos of others and how our relationships provide a crucible for redemption, again looking at men and women from Scripture who are transformed through pain. Third, we will work toward developing a Biblical theology around the chaos of the culture and how we are active in the redemptive process. Finally, we will deal with the chaos of God, His sovereignty and fiery love in the pain and grief of life.
This will be a significant Bible study that will make the theme of the institute come to life!
