BC-11 — Party with Jesus: Because Celebrating your Faith is Better than Practicing It
Richard Kannwischer
People in the ancient world were known more for what they celebrated than for what they believed. This seminar will excavate the embodiment of hope as it is lived out through the parties of Jesus (the Jewish festivals) and scenes of Jesus at parties. We will explore both Old and New Testament passages as well as discover C.S. Lewis’ portrayal of hope through the lens of feasting.
