Do you love to sing? Would you be interested in joining the 2025 C.S. Lewis Summer Institute Volunteer Choir?
The “Oxbridge” Summer Institute has a wonderful tradition of choral singing, and this year we are excited to offer this opportunity to conference participants. Our choir director is Amber Salladin, who is experienced in working with both amateur and professional choirs.
Please note: this choir is optional, and if you choose to participate, it will not conflict with other sessions during the conference.
Here are some details:
When will the choir sing/perform?
- During a short interlude between morning lectures (we call this a “whimsy”) on Monday, July 28th
- For the “Hymn Sing” on the evening of Tuesday, July 29th
- For the closing worship service on Wednesday, July 30th
When will the choir rehearse?
- This is to be determined but most likely on Friday, July 25th at 4:30 pm and Sunday, July 27th time to be determined.
- If another rehearsal is needed, it will most likely occur on Monday, July 30th, at a time to be determined.
If you would like to participate, we need to gather a little information about your voice part and choral experience, thus helping us make choices about the music that we’ll be singing.
